According to the World Quality Report (2019), one of the key reasons for low automation is due to the difficulty in provisioning and maintaining test data. Production data is stored and integrated across multiple, rigorously evolving legacy and modern enterprise applications. This makes the extraction, usage and maintenance of production data for testing a major challenge. To top it off, agile teams work in distributed environments and require access to stateful data that meets certain test requirements as well as data compliance. However, with thousands of test cases and test data that gets consumed and altered throughout the end-to-end process, maintaining stateful data across teams is a significant roadblock. Simona Domazetoska brings together extensive experience in content marketing, market research, competitive intelligence analysis and narrative building. She’s worked at tech startups, universities and international organizations in Australia, Austria and Switzerland. Simona is passionate about product evangelism. As a Product Marketing Manager at Tricentis, she has delivered content and trainings on model-based test automation, test data management, robotic process automation and more recently, AI/ML in test automation. Simona is also a dedicated member of the Diversity & Inclusion Council at Tricentis where she aspires to help make the topic of test automation accessible to all, regardless of background.
Willber Barrios discovered his passion in testing when he started working as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Eight years later, having experience various roles as manual tester and automation engineer, he works as a Consultant at Tricentis. In this position he has helped several enterprises to develop a continuous delivery process through automated test. His ambition to learn from customers has given him the experience to engage in projects of companies with different sizes and infrastructures. Willber holds a degree in Business Engineering that helps him understand the technical needs of users that are not directly involved in IT.
