Position Overview

We are looking for experienced QA Testing Engineers for an innovative firm that develops iPhone, iPad and Android apps for the healthcare industry, located in the western suburbs of Chicago. The firm uses .NET technology and is a heavy Agile/Test Driven Development environment.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Design and implement testing processes and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodologies
• Serve as QA interface with software developers and end-users
• Analyzes test results from a technical standpoint and the ability to isolate defects
• Track test coverage and other metrics
• Contribute to the continuous advancement of current QA processes and maintain repeatable processes
• Work closely with the development team to develop automated and manual testing strategies

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

• 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance team environment
• Understanding of Agile Methodology and other software development methodologies
• Must possess experience in creating Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Data
• Experience Testing Web Services (REST, SOAP, XMLRPC, etc.)
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation tests (integration, regression, performance, etc.)
• Software Development background is desirable
• Experience Source code repositories (git, subversion, etc.) is desirable
• Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and master concepts rapidly
• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
• Experience with testing mobile devices a plus (iOS, Android, etc.)
